I have been a JA-ROY customer for over 15 years here in Slidell La. Would've left 5 stars but the "New" customer scheduling is harassing with annoying texts. The service I receive from the Ja-Roy technician and effectiveness of the product they apply are the reason I have continued with them. As of recently they have switched to a new "customer service center" the result has been harassing text messages to schedule service appointments and random service technicians coming to perform service calls while I'm not home. I strongly considered cancelling my contract for both houses. The service tech I've had for the majority of my contract (Blaine) assured me he would let his supervisor (Raymond) know and take care of the arrant scheduling issues and constraint text messages personally. If it weren't for the customer service from Blaine (service tech) I would've looked for termite service elsewhere. Bottom line, product effectiveness and above and beyond customer service from local and caring service technicians.

I have been a Ja-Roy customer for years, and for the most part been pleased. When the new company took over, the customer service went away. I was called at least one month prior to my renewal being due. I told her that I was not ready to pay, that I had a month before it was due. She said if you don't pay now I will continue to call you until you pay. Very unprofessional ! ! I will have someone else when it's due again.

Awsome experience with ja-roy, Jeremy the technician did an awsome job, very knowledgeable and thorough and on time seemed to go above and beyond. I would definitely recommend them for termite and pest control.

Excellent customer care and professionalism.

Just started using this company we started seeing German roaches after I allowed someone to bring clothing bags here to wash clothes. They were a little more expensive than other quotes I got from other local companies, however I liked the plan they told me they were going to put in place to exterminate them. Which was much more extensive than what another company said they would do for cheaper. The other company had only planned to use a bait gel and spray, and said that if after a week and a half I was still seeing them to call and they’d come back out. But JA-Roy told me that they were going to be coming out twice for the plan to remedy the existing pest issue. To do the initial first treatment and then again 7-10 days later, and then quarterly unless I needed them sooner. Jeremy McNeil our technician was very informed and throughout. He took off all the plug outlet cover plates to apply dust. He also pulled out dishwasher, fridge, and stove to dust and spray. He also applied a bait gel and sprayed alpine WSG with a growth regulator added as well inside the entire house. It’s only been about two weeks and so far I have only been seeing dead ones. So long as this continues to work we will definitely be keeping this company as our regular pest control. So far I definitely feel that even though it was slightly more expensive than the other quote, I have so far gotten my money’s worth and am seeing good results. Also I liked that there was no contract that I had to be tied into for a set amount of time. They also have a customer web portal that is very detailed about what the technician found, the chemicals that were used, and recommendations on what needs to be done on the home owners part to help remedy any pest issues. I read some of the recent reviews and was initially weary about using them because so many people complained of no shows. However Jeremy called me and made sure that we had a scheduled day and time window that worked for us and he showed up both times within the window he gave me.

These people are amazing. They are professional, considerate and helpful. If you have an issue, give them a call

My technician is Stephannie Clayton and I have never had any complaints. Very professional and has always addressed any problems I have had and is very helpful. Wouldn't want anyone else as a technician. I am however not happy about all this automated services where you cant even call locally and speak to anyone. You have to call some call center.

This company has lost their personal touch with customers. I know they were bought out, so I'm hopeful that it's growing pains

My technician is Stephannie Clayton and she is wonderful. Always sends message before she comes. No complaints with her. BUT I do not like not being able to call the Franklinton office and speaking personally with anybody in the office. My residential service has went up 3 times in a year. I do not like the new changes with the new owners

When did Jay Roy change to a national call center - I get this very impersonal voice mail on my phone from a call center that left the wrong number (it had too many digits in it). No message about why they were calling. It showed up as spam on my phone. I really hat call centers. what happened to the local personal service. I have used Jay Roy for many years. May be time to consider other providers.

Our service man is excellent in his service, covers all area of protection indoor and outdoor. Always comes with a smile and very friendly. He answers any questions you ay have.

I’ve used other pest services in years past, but Ja-Roy outshines all the others. Their technicians are friendly, knowledgeable in their job, and what’s more, they care. They take pride in good service.
The one drawback in an otherwise seamless transition is the automated answering service. In the recent past it was good to call and speak directly to a human and not have to push a bunch of buttons. This is SO impersonal and quite a contrast to the people working for Ja-Roy.
BUT, once a real live person answers, they are polite and very helpful. And when I laugh at myself and joke because of a goofy mistake I’ve made, they laugh also. And you can’t get that from a recording!

Used to be Dugas Pest Control. These folks are new to me so I can't recommend them. Not even sure if they are local.
